SATURDAY MORNING PRESENTATION
Science and Spirit: Labyrinths in Hospitals
Robert Ferre

Robert Ferré is owner of Labyrinth Enterrpises and returns to the podium to share his many years of experience working with hospitals and health care organizations to build labyrinths in these locations.  Roberts explains, "Since science deals exclusively with the visible, observable, and quantifiable, scientific medicine, in turn, takes a reductionist approach, seeking to alleviate symptoms by prescribing drugs or surgery. Labyrinths effectively address that area ignored by the scientific paradigm, namely, inner healing."  An awareness of the need to find balance of science and spirit in the healing process is increasing as is the demand for labyrinths in the health care setting, not only by institutions and practitioners, but by patients and families as well.

SATURDAY EVENING PRESENTATIONS
The Sacred Passage: Your Final Labyrinth Walk
Rebecca Rodriguez

Rebecca Rodriguez, creator of Labyrinth Inspiration Cards(c) says,
"From the moment you were born, your first breath of this earthly air, you began your lifelong labyrinth journey...your pilgrimage to the center and back.  Birth...you were awake then, open and fully engaged. Where are you now?  Using the very real experience of hospice and preparing to die, we will lift the veil a bit and reflect on deep symbolism of the labyrinth walk and preparing to transcend this life.  Your final labyrinth walk in this lifetime will arrive, no doubt, by divine design. When it does, you can step into that experience as it unfolds, awake, open and fully engaged. The labyrinth can be a tool to assist you through its story, experience and doorway to new worlds."
